Delaying AppleCare activation for a new Watch

Can I delay AppleCare support if I don’t wish to activate a new watch it was purchased with?

No, that is written in stone, I’m afraid. I’m a former Apple Store manager and I could do a lot of things that online support could not do, especially if related to a customer service issue. But Apple will not register an Apple Care policy/agreement after 60 days from date of purchase. Nothing can be done, I’m afraid. Just bite the bullet and purchase it before the 60 days is up.
