iPad mouse delay and smoothing
I recently bought a new keyboard and mouse for use with my iPad Air 4. While everything works well in general, I am surprised about the high delay between moving the mouse physically and seeing that movement represented on the iPads screen. Also it feels like there is excessive smoothing going on, it doesn't feel snappy and responsive at all.
To confirm that this is an iOS/iPadOS specific problem, I already tried connecting the mouse to some other devices, including a Windows Laptop with built-in Bluetooth, a Windows desktop PC with a cheap Bluetooth dongle and an Android smartphone. On all of these other devices, the mouse reacts nearly instant and doesn't seem to get smoothed and accelerated.
I am therefore searching for a way to change mouse smoothing and acceleration in the iPad settings, but I can't find any settings besides the speed of the mouse. How is it possible that Apple wants to present iPads as work laptop replacements but not allow for such basic and important input settings to be changed? It's really painful to use like this and I will be required to stick to my Windows laptop for all extended editing and work stuff.
Does anybody have any recommendations on how to make this situation better and make mouse usage on iPad more comfortable?
