CarPlay not working properly since the iOS 18 update

Since updating to iOS 18, my CarPlay isn’t working properly. I have a 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe. If the car play does turn on, it plays my music as “voice prompts” and not “media” like it’s supposed to. I cannot press any buttons on my steering wheel like to skip a song and if I press media to switch to the radio it won’t let me do that either. I tried Apple support, nothing is working!! If anyone could help I would truly appreciate it!
