Sequoia 15.0.1 OS. I need to install PHP and MySQL or MariaDB on my Mac.

The standard install of Apache doesn't include a database or PHP capabilities.

I'm looking for a way to use the standard install, because MAMP Pro, AMPPS and XAMMP didn't work.

So, if anyone could help me getting the above mentioned items installed (and SSL) then I would appreciate a tip or two.

SSL too?

You can always install MySQL. That's not too difficult. You can install your own PHP too. I know you could run it via the CGI module, like any other external shell scripting language. You might even be able to compile the PHP module for Apache.

But maybe it would be best to review your ultimate goal. What are you trying to accomplish? Are you looking for a job in 1998?

It is definitely possible to get all of that running on a Mac, but it's an awful lot of work. You might consider running a Linux VM instead. An even better idea would be to set this up in an AWS EC2. Then migrate that to CloudFront, Lambda, or something similarly modern. That might get you a job in 2025.
