Express vpn stopped working on macbook air M1

expressvpn that works w my iphone and used to work on my macbook air M1 until 3 days ago, stopped on my mac. it says connected by it cuts the internet. anyone that knows a solution? l wld be very grateful. Have a nice weekend.

You are most likely better off that it is not working on your Mac and it would be even better if it was not on your iPhone. Express VPN was purchased by a shady company 3 years ago called Kape Technologies and may be a problem for your privacy/security.

If your purpose for using a VPN is because you think you are more secure, that is not always the case and all of your data is being sent to the VPN company with many of them having been caught selling it. Be informed on your choices and review these articles for more information.


There is a use case for VPN's when used to "tunnel" into an employer's network. In this case the VPN is usually provided by the employer with specific settings for access. Just don't buy into the marketing plan of many claiming that you need it for security.
