Can I use my iPhone's Type-C cable to move files from Android?

Trying to transfer files from android to IOS but the system asked to use a usb 3.0 cable instead of the type-c cable that came with the iPhone. Can't the transfer be done using the cable it came with?

I believe that the USB-C charge cable that comes with iPhone 16 series phones will transfer data – but only at USB 2 speeds.

60W USB-C Charge Cable (1 m) - Apple

Note that the USB-C ports on the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus only support USB 2 speeds. For those iPhones, the cable can transfer data as fast as they can.

The USB-C ports on the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max support higher speeds and data transfers using them might benefit from a USB-C cable rated to carry data at USB 3.1 Gen 2 speeds ("up to 10 Gbps").
