Hey!


When your battery has below 80% maximum capacity, it can no longer deliver the amount of power your phone needs when its processor is working hard. Your phone would crash because the components are just not getting enough energy.


To avoid crashing, your iPhone will run a bit slower than before. You might notice this in the camera app (e.g., when you try to take many photos quickly) or other performance-heavy tasks might take a bit longer. These are the software and hardware systems Apple is talking about.


To fix it, you can get your battery replaced: iPhone Battery Replacement - Apple Support

But it's really better not to go to far down the battery rabbit hole. Even if you do absolutely everything you possibly could to eek out as much battery life as possible, it's not going to make more than a few weeks of difference. Batteries are consumable. Don't waste your life trying to change that.
