Image taken on iPhone 16 Pro blown out and too bright while editing.

I’m trying to take photos of the moon with my brand new iPhone 16 Pro. Why when I take a photo does it look like the first image on the screen (nice, crisp and detailed) but when I go to edit it, it looks like the second image (all blown out and too bright) like I took it on a much more inferior camera? Help please.
