How can I fix x64-ARM architecture errors on Mac?

Greetings to all. I want to install the Pro100 program that works on Windows, respectively x64 architecture on Mac OS 15 m3 pro. I tried using UTM and Parallels to install Windows 11 (because 10 is not installed) and install Pro100 there, but it gives an x64 - ARM architecture incompatibility error. Maybe someone installed something similar, interested in any experience. Thank you

This appears to be the Web site for the application the OP is talking about.

It boils down to dual-booting Windows or running Windows in a virtual machine on an Intel-based Mac.

"Please be aware that Pro100 was developed to run exclusively on Windows-based computers. While it is possible to run the program on a Mac through the installation of "Bootcamp," or "Virtualization" as explained below, we recommend you download the demo to make sure everything is up and running. For the best experience with Pro100, we suggest running it on a Windows-based machine but if you have no other choice, please read on.

If you do not have a Windows machine, we highly recommend a Macbook with Intell processor. The M1 processor architecture which is completely different from Intel, Pro100 may not run. Please check to see if you are able to install Pro100 demo version on your machine and able to run the program with no issues."

So far, I see no evidence that this developer is even aware that Microsoft has a version of Windows for ARM, much less that they ship native Windows/ARM binaries. If the only thing they ship is a Windows/Intel binary, then, when you ran that binary in Windows 11 for ARM in Parallels Desktop on an Apple Silicon Mac, there would be

  • The overhead for running Windows inside of a virtual machine, plus
  • The overhead for Windows to run Intel-only code using emulation or translation.

Does the developer of that app provide an ARM64 version?

If not, then it appears you will not be able to use the Intel (or x64) version with Windows 11 ARM.

Also keep in mind Windows 11 ARM within a Parallels VM will have some restrictions compared to running Windows11 on a stand alone Windows based hardware meant (aka designed) for Windows.
