Why is my Apple Watch SE not recording VO2 data?

I have an Apple Watch SE bought in August. It is paired with an iPhone 14 and I am using the Apple health app. Both devices are running the latest OS.

I speed walk almost everyday for about 30 mins but the cardio fitness has never recorded any data. There are many threads on here dating back a couple of years and I have tried all the ‘fixes’ that are suggested but to no avail.

my husband has the exact same watch and he has no issues.

This is what I have tried:

Privacy settings motion and fitness on phone

Fitness tracking and heart rate on watch

Unpaired and paired

Reset the data

Airplane mode when walking then off

Bluetooth off when walking

Airplane mode on and Bluetooth off when walking

Don’t think I missed anything.

i would love to get this working so any further advice would be very welcome.

thank you in advance.

If you open the Cardio fitness section in the Health App and scroll down to the bottom where you can select to show all data and all data sources, is your watch listed as a source?

If yes, can you see any entries in the "Show all data" tab?

If you check your Walking Outdoor workout in the Fitness App on your iPhone, did it record heart rate, calories, etc, which results you can also see in the Health App under Activities for that exercise?
