Apple Business Connect Will Not Accept My Valid EIN

I followed the Pro Tip of removing the first two digits and the hyphen from my EIN and the form submitted just fine. It's a terrible workaround and this whole system is poorly designed. Clearly, Apple lacks maturity in certain aspects of the business world.

I had the same issue. What I did was go back to the Business Connect dashboard.

I clicked on Company (Bottom left of the screen where it says, company, brands, team and then your name.)

I typed in my EIN (the last digits without the “99” or dash.) it accepted it and now I’m waiting review. Wish me luck and hope this helps!

I followed this tip and it worked for me. "Try it without the first two numbers and the “-“. "

I have the same issue. Very frustrating as I can’t claim my business until I verify the EIN and upload my utility bill.

I’m having the same issue today, so I’m guessing there might be a problem with their API that checks the FEINs against the IRS register.

That did not work for me.

This work around did not work for me.. I am still unable to set up the account and I know my EIN number is correct.

Anyone else have any other work arounds??
