Apple Maps take up so much storage

Apple Maps take up so much storage even when i'm not have the apps, now it takes almost 3GB, last week still 1 GB documents and data

Apple Maps taking up excessive storage on iPhone My Apple maps has been taking up a lot of storage. It went from 2GB to 5GB and now it is 11GB. I do not have anything on maps as I do not use it. When I deleted the app, it still shows 11GB for documents and data and the storage is still expanding which is taking most of my phone storage. Pls help me with this issue.
