Airdrop app missing on my macbook air

updated to sequoia and my airdrop app is missing... can't find it anywhere and I don't know how/where to download it. please any help would be super helpful. thanks

There is not an AirDrop app. You can view AirDrop in the sidebar of any Finder window, by going to Finder > Settings > Sidebar, and make sure AirDrop is checked.

You can stick Airdrop in the Menu Bar. Goto Control Center>Airdrop (Show In Menu Bar)

If Airdrop will not stay in the Finder (been reported by myself and others), reboot your Mac but if that does not work you may need to reinstall the OS using recovery which is what I had to do..

Airdrop is selected but does not show up in the Finder window. Is it something that can be reinstalled?
