Why is my iPhone asking for a CalDAV password on Calendars app?

I have tried all possible options and none have cleared the problem iPhone is asking for CalDAV password on calendar I don’t know what that is. My Apple password doesn’t work to be that password for CalDAV

Means your syncing your calendar to your email, enter that password. IF you still have issue contact your email provider or look at their help site.

I have the same issue after installing iOS 18.1. Everything was fine before. We have family sharing, but don’t share a Family Calendar. Why is it so cryptic with “CalDAV”? I tried all my email passwords as well as my Apple password. Is it someone else’s password in the family?

Ask your email provider what the password is.

I just installed iOS 18 and am now getting the pop up "your password is incorrect for calDAV Google" on my iPhone 15 Pro. I've gone into settings>general>VPN & Device Management and there is no option to delete anything here. There is only a VPN icon (which is not connected) and a blue "sign in to Work or School Account". I am self employed and am not in school.

I kept putting in the correct Google password, still said it was incorrect so I changed it. Turned the phone off after and it still is saying that the password is incorrect.

When I open the calendars page and scroll down to Google, it says in red to Verify Account Information. This was never a problem until I downloaded iOS 18.

I use Yahoo daily and only have a gmail account so that I can access Google for all other reasons. I never use gmail other than for a recovery email also.

I have the same issue with CalDAV. My phone was syncing fine with my AOL calendar until iOS 18. I'm now on iOS 18.2 and problem persists. I've change my CalDAV password on AOL. Deleted and recreated the calendar account on my iPhone. Nothing helps. The phone still keeps asking me to enter my calDAV password and even though I enter it correctly, it keeps giving me the "Password Incorrect" error.
