ECG App Availability in Western Balkans Countries

Sadly after years of being available, ECG App in Albania, Bosnia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, or Serbia does not work, since Apple decided not to for what ever reason.

We are talking about 6 countries in Europe, however Apple can still offer this feature in some of the most remote countries around the world.

It is an app that can save people lives, and I am dissappointed to see that in my country Apple refuses to make one of the most important service available.

It serves no purpose for Apple to deny functions on an Watch to any country arbitrarily.

The ECG function is considered a medical device, and to be allowed in a country, it must be approved by that country's medical device authority. If it hasn't been approved, updates to the watch in that country disable the hardware for that function.

The ECG function is available in "the most remote countries around the world" because those countries' medical authorities have authorized its availability.
