My iPhone 8 has software updates of 16.7.10(20H350)
its been a while and still waiting for further software updates notification.
Has there been any further updates after 16.7.10 ???

It is very unlikely that there will be further updates to iOS 16 other than possibly security patches. If you want the features of newer versions of iOS, then as stedman indicated, you'll need a newer iPhone.

Unfortunately, that model is not compatible with iOS 17 or higher.
That is the highest possible.

My iPhone 8 has served me very well with minimal issues since 2018 and as a keen iphone fan and user, I think it’s about time for a newer iPhone.
My flair for software updates to keep my phone in top performance is going to be very worrying issues.
Pls can anyone on this platform help with a newer iphone .
I am 70 yrs retired and my phone keeps my mind active .
