It’s time to fix iMessage

I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing the following things:

1. photos saved in messages otherwise seen under the info section are often scrambled, out of place and some are missing! The only fix I found is to go to apps - messages - turn off show content in search then wait for messages to index. That solves the problem for a day or so. Then all the photos under any of my message threads are back to being scrambled or missing. Any one have a better fix?
2. Some senders that are not labeled as muted automatically get labeled muted if you scroll up and down your messages. This is annoying! Any fix here?
3. not all my message threads show up unless I switch off my phone and restart it again.
4. My storage for messages on iCloud is 132 GB but it only shows 2.53 GB on my iPhone storage. Whys that?

Im running iOS 18.0.1 on an iPhone 14 Pro Max.
