After setting up an existing notes file with headers and sub-headers.
When I collapse all sections - the next time I look at these notes, the sections have all expanded and if I expand one section or more all sections randomly expand sometimes.
I have a Mac mini M1 with macOS sequoia 15.0.1 installed.

I have no spelling errors and my sections still won't stay collapsed if I go out and come back in (to the Notes app). Are others experiencing this?
Solved my own problem.
a. Any spelling errors in Notes app will cause this. I just had to right click all spelling errors and click "Ignore Spelling" and the section would remain collapsed.
b. This explains the 3 red dotted lines showing randomly on the screen Notes page (not mentioned before) when there were spelling errors and the section was collapsed.
c. The other problem I had was right clicking the spelling errors and the context menu did not show "Ignore Spelling". For some unknown reason, the "Ignore Spelling" from the context menu is appearing again as normal.
