sequoia powerpoint looped video problems

Hey folks ... I had the same issue.

WORKAROUND: Spent 6 hours taking all videos that loop and using QuickTime to keep adding the same video. So I got a 20 second video I made it 6 x 20 =2 minutes and no loop. That works. It also increase the size of your deck, my PPT went from 600MG to 1.3GB! I got 96GM of RAM on the laptop but ..

Then today I noticed a new version of Sequoia .. (15.1 vs 15.01) ..specifically (24B83) AND ... ready for it... seems to have a FIXED EVERYTHING. I have a twin sister laptop to this and the PPT would pixelate on that one when looping and now this one .. now I upgrades both and I have tested it for a good 1 hour on multiple videos. So applying this fixed it. I was sooooo ****** ... and miraculously, I'm on stage tomorrow and it's fixed...at least it feels that way.

I've got the same problems, however I see it in sequoia 15.1

I installed sequoia directly into 15.1 (never installed 15.01 or anything earlier)

Video playback in chrome is broken, Video playback in safari is broken....

Identical issue on Mac Pro with M1 on since update on sequoia 4 days ago mp4 embedded in Powerpoint Version 16.90 (24101387) do not run smoothly any more. It really looks unprofessional to show such slides.

No ideas so far how to fix it. Anyone else?

Got exactly the same problem with the same Mac since a few days. Maybe we have to wait for a patch.

I have the same problem with a 2019 Macbook pro 16 inch updated to sequoia. If anyone has a solution I would be really grateful.
