150w power supply for 30" Cinema display

I have been scrounging stuff left in my colleagues' labs for disposal as we move to a new building. I found a 30" Cinema Display that appeared to be in perfect condition, but did not turn on. It would be perfect for viewing large microscope images. I see that the power supply is the weak link. I am not keen to buy another used Apple one, only to have it fail. There is some reference to using an LED light source power adapter but no instructions on how to adapt it to the Display. Is there anyone who can advise on what to buy and the steps needed to adapt it? We have experience rewiring a lot of equipment
