How can I place an icon on my laptop so that I may access my iCloud mail?

You could use the built-in Mail application on your Mac and add your iCloud account: Add email accounts in Mail on Mac - Apple Support.

Apple Mail I use apple mail. I generally just open mail from the icon at the bottom of my screen on my imac. When I set up a new mailbox in my account that mailbox does not show up in line with the other mailboxes I have. It shows up under a new category "on my mac". Why does this happen? I would prefer that all the mailboxes show up under the icloud category. Is there a way to accomplish this?

My microsoft e-mail account no longer comes up on my mac icon We have had MSN e-mail accounts for 20 years. Recently the e-mails stopped appearing on the mac e-mail icon. I think Microsoft made some changes a while ago that I didn't adjust to.
