iPhone 16 pro max, iOS 18, battery draining fast.

I’ve had an iPhone 16 pro max for around 3 weeks, the battery performance is significantly worse than my 2 yr old iPhone 14 Pro Max.

initially I thought, it was just doing all the ios18 indexing stuff in the background, but it’s been 3 weeks now, and even with light use, it struggles to make it through the day.

im seriously thinking of taking it back, do i have a faulty unit? this is probably the worst battery performance I’d had on any iPhone I’ve owned.

i’ve attached screenshots of battery health screen, but nothing is screaming out at me.
