I didn't think I was going to like it as much as I do. Sadly, it doesn't come in black. And I'm mindful of another post in which you said the third-party version wasn't as good.

And a long shot, but if you haven't already done so, you might try washing the band with a mild non-allergenic laundry or dish soap. It's possible that the reaction is coming from a mold-release coating, not the silicone itself, though reactions to silicone are by no means unusual.

Apple has a number of options, and there are literally thousands of bands available on Amazon.

I've always found leather to be the least likely to cause problems. Apple no longer makes leather products. Look to a 3rd party for that.
