Unable to send text messages from iPhone after an update

Ummmm .... you may not realize that you are NOT addressing Apple here. This is a community forum where Apple users try to help other Apple users with their tech problems. The Atty Gen also does not read these posts. Please do not use this threatening tone with us.

Or, if you want us to try to help you figure this out, describe the problem in more detail. Which messaging program/app are you using? Is the problem with everyone or only specific folks (friends with androids?). Can you receive texts? With more detail, we may be able to help.

I have 2 iPhones on T-Mobile and both of them work fine after the update. If it was a problem with the update, why are your other 2 phones working fine. If there is a problem with your 1 device, then take it to Apple for diagnostics. They will do it for free and may even be able to give you more details than what TMobile has told you.

As I have said you got the normal response from TMobile. For example, this support site is filled with users who have wanted to remove the SIM Lock on their phone by contacting TMobile and were told the same thing. Apple does not even lock phones to a cellular provider and have no way to remove a SIM Lock, but that is still the same script they told the customer.

Consider your source. I have TMobile, along with millions of others, and there is no problem with texting after the update. TMobile will blame everyone else instead of taking responsibility for themself. It is there go to response when they do not have an answer for you. There is nothing Apple needs to fix, and SMS texting is a cellular service that only TMobile will be able to resolve. They told you that so you would not go to another cell provider. Seems it worked on you.

Apple Intelligence (AI) hasn’t been released yet. If you’re using beta software and I can only say beta software is notorious for having issues and if you’re a beta tester, you should be reporting the bug following Apple beta usage guidelines and not posting publicly.

It’s a poor practice to use beta software on primary devices, and Apple cautions against doing so.

If you’re using some other AI, Apple is not responsible for insuring compatibility with you devices and doesn’t offer support for third party software.,
