I have been dealing with this for over a week. I have done the restart (usually takes several times) and have updated the ios. It was working fine. Now it is doing it again! Restart seems to work better when I'm connected to my Macbook

It appears that you have performed all the basic troubleshooting steps to address the screen issue but have been unsuccessful. I suspect that this may be related to a hardware issue. I recommend that you contact 👉 Official Apple Support OR you can always get your iPhone examined at the Apple Store 👉 Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options or at an Authorized Service Center for further diagnosis and evaluation.
