Allow calls on other devices - iPad

When I receive a call, I initially pick up on my iPhone. When I want to use my iPad I tap on the audio button and select speaker for iPad. When I do that, the phone app takes up the whole iPad screen.

Is there a way to minimize the app, make it smaller so I view the home page?
