Hi all,
Browising via google chrome has become very slow in the past 1 week. I installed some packages using macports, and enabled keychain for ssh access in the past two weeks.
I can browse normally via Safari.
Solutions tried:
I tried restarting the Mac and reinstalling Google chrome.
I have attached the Etrecheck report for your reference.
Please share your thoughts.

I'm having this exact same issue. Everything is up-to-date and Chrome is lagging like crazy. I've removed extensions and adjusted rendering settings, but nothing is working. I'm running an M2 Max with 92GB RAM. Should have zero issues.
You could be running an M1 Mac mini with 8gb of ram, specs have nothing to do with app issues. Chrome will run the same on either one of them. But it’s true that it’s lagging also on iPhone 13,14,16, pro, non pro…. It’s a known issue
Disabling the Firefox has solved the issue. Probably a bug with the latest version of mac os.
