Text Edit margins

I would really like to widen the text box--change the huge margins--on a Text Edit. I already have to use Wrap to Text for printing out proper font sizes. HELP

iMac 21.5″, macOS 14.6

Because TextEdit is not a real word processing application, Apple omitted handy things like document margin and Page Wrap Text box adjustments.

Maybe you would like the free Bean application better…

TextEdit provides no margins and you can only adjust the document width and height that is displayed. TextEdit does not offer text boxes. Are you thinking of Pages and not TextEdit?
