Whatsapp App not linking to Whatsapp Desktop

I bought a used iphone 15 pro max (i switched from android to iphone) 2 weeks ago.

Whatsapp-app is working just fine, but i have not been able to link whatsapp-desktop to my iphone.

it scans the qr-code, then it starts downloading chats/messages etc and stops with this error message:

i have tried this on mac-os, windows 10, windows 11, linux. none of them are working.

but connecting to WEB-whatsapp is no issue at all.

very very frustrating. i have tried so many things, like removing the app from my iphone, clearing alle caches i could find, reinstalling it again. reinstalling the app on ALL my computers.

there are quite a few videos on Youtube showing how to fix this, but none of them work.

i even tried older app-versions on my windows-computers. nothing works.

I am unable to request a support-ticket at whatsapp-support because their website gives an error (i'm trying this for days already, i can fill in all the fields and click submit but gives an error)

The support at whatsapp is really horrible

i have tried so many things i don't know what to do..
