Brother Iprint and scan app

I have used the Brother Iprint & Scan app for a long time. After updating to IOS 15, it no longer works. When ask to select my machine, it says no supported machines found. My printer and my mac are on the same network. I can print with no problem via of wifi from my mac. The scanner within the printer app in settings works fine but is not as user friendly as Iprint. I have deleted the app and reinstalled. I have download the current printer and scanner drivers off the Brother site. That concludes to me that either something with IOS 15 has effected the app or the app no longer supports older printers. Any other suggestions?
