iphone connects to wifi in setting but stays on LTE/5g - need help!
no matter what I try it will not shift to Wifi. Apps that need the Wifi pop a message saying I am not connected to internet or cellular (e.g. Kindle app will not download books to my phone). Note: all other devices in my home work just fine.
I have tried the following:
- turning Wifi off and on
- forgetting my network and then reconnecting.
- powering down iphone and then reconnecting
- Resetting my internet modem and restarting.
- Reset network connection (settings>general>reset iphone>reset network.
- combinations of the above (reset internet+reset network, etc.
it always connects to wifi in settings no problem but it doesn's actially connect and stays on the 5g/LTE.
anyone have a fix before I do a full factory reset?
