MacBook Pro trackpad and mouse not dragging highlighted text Relatively new MacBook Pro where the trackpad and apple mouse been working fine for a year then recently both stopped highlighting or dragging selected text. Have restarted computer several times, deleted the mouse and reconnected, and followed a suggestion in the existing community help responses to unselect the 'Force Click and haptic feedback' option in the trackpad settings. Both trackpad and mouse now will highlight a single word or the entire line but I still cannot drag the mouse or trackpad to highlight words or sections of text, and also it still will not drag even the highlighted items. Would appreciate advice if anyone knows how I can fix this. Thank you :)

Cursor problems Sonoma 14.5 My cursor behaves oddly after upgrade to a new Mac and Sonoma 14.5. It's most prominent (and annoying) in Pages, but happens in other programs and web pages as well. The cursor flickers and shifts rapidly between pointer and text cursor in a way that makes it difficult to select the right place in the text. Also, sometimes it doesn't react when I try to select a text section. It never had this issue with my previous Mac and OS. Is this a bug or a settings problem, and can it be resolved? Thanks.

MacBook Pro pointer moves without interaction There is some bug of self-moving pointer to bottom left corner. It does move not instantly, so usually I was capable of stopping without it reaching corner. Also it only occurs when I move pointer and try to click. It has been already 3 months as I am encountering this bug. I have tried new software updates and reinstalled macOS once, but it did not help. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Presume you are clicking-and-dragging using the trackpad? What application(s)?
