Notify when left behind - how to change the device that is notified? It is notifying wrong phone when something left behind!

The notify when left behind is somehow linked to wrong phone (my sons) when a device is left behind. It fills in that field automatically - I don’t see anywhere I can change it so it will notify my phone instead!

somehow, somewhere it determined that his phone is the one to notify, this needs to be changed to my phone. Where is it grabbing this from?

Yes, we’ve had iPhones for a couple of decades- set his up as shared as he was a minor and this was before “family” option existed. Have talked to people in Apple Store about trying to separate account a few years ago, but at time it would have been challenging.

So, it had him being notified now rather than me - there has to be someplace that it determined his phone was the one to notify rather than mine, where would that be?
