With the new download of the software now when I use the calculator it shows what I just subtracted or added. Is there a way to take that part off? Example - $2,000 + $200 = $2,200. Before it only showed you the new amount of $2,200 - but now it shows you the calculation as well, I don’t want to see the calculation.

I agree with everything Camelot said in their post. You can let Apple know you don't like it here:
But as Camelot said, they're probably not going back.
You might want to look at other calculator apps. PCalc is highly recommended by a lot of people here.
There are also iOS App Store calculator alternatives.
A classic case of you can't please all of the people all of the time.
Many people complained the old calculator was too basic (many didn't realize rotating the phone gave extra options).
Apple updated the app to add new features, including history/tape. Now you're complaining its too much.
I don't expect them to go backwards at this point.

You did have a choice. Upgrading to iOS 18 was not required.
If you are someone who is very change-averse, always wait before upgrading. Read the forums. See what people are complaining about.
