automatically changing windows if a textbox is selected on a window

My mac has started having the issue of changing windows automatically 'after' I switch to a different one. I have noticed it does it if im in a section to start typing, no matter how many times i scroll to the window i want, it just keeps going back to it until i unselect the typing box. If both windows have a typing box selected, it just goes back and forth without me touching the mouse.

I really hope this makes sense & someone can help me 😭
