I can’t adjust my brightness or volume consistently, I can’t rearrange each component the control center, and I can’t put the control center away from anywhere on the screen since there is vertical scrolling between multiple pages. For the first two issues, the phone doesn’t even seem to register that I’m touching the screen. The brightness bar is like a static image (I can adjust from settings but this is inconvenient). Updated control center is, in my experience, very much a net negative until ‘bugs and fixes, happens or whatever

If the phone seems not to be registering that you're touching it, that sounds more like a hardware issue. I'm not saying you're not having problems, just that they are problems with your phone, not with the Control Center generally.
I don't find the Control Center in iOS 18 functionally different than the pervious version. My brightness slider works fine.
What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far?
No, you cannot revert. What's so difficult? The control center is substantially the same as before.
No it’s not, way more taps needed in order to achieve the same thing. No one uses airdrop honestly, but hey now I can least have to tap 3 times to turn on cellular data. Thanks apple, now I’m grabbing my mac to revert to IOS 17:)

What controls have changed?
Thanks apple, now I’m grabbing my mac to revert to IOS 17:)
1) Apple isn't reading here and 2) you can't revert to iOS 17.
