Function (FN) Key Not Working:

A. Hold Down fn:

So, what happens when you hold down "fn" and then press this?

B. Lagging Mac:

Perhaps the Mac is lagging? Having little storage space can most certain lead to attenuations of taping keys briefly. So, to view how much internal storage space is left, use Disk Utility:

  1. Click: the Desktop
  2. Click: Go menu
  3. Select: Utilities
  4. View: the white line on remaining space.
