Strange consistent white noise/ static sound when recording

I recently received a refurbished iphone 13 from apple refurbished. It has a brand new battery and shell.

I've noticed that when recording voice memos or anything like that there is a strange and very consistent background static noise. It's not super loud, but not inconsiderable either. I have tried turning off silent, adjusting my volume settings etc, but it's still there.

I had this problem before with my old iphone 8 after i had the battery replaced, so wondering if it could be related to that?
