Will I lose access to Apple Intelligence if I buy an iPhone in Europe?

I bought my iPhone 16 in eu. Now I’m in the us for a while. Will I get the apple ai features when it’s released?

Apple intelligence in Europe Hello, I am thinking about buying the iPhone 16 Pro Max in the USA when I am there, I live in Belgium. I'm already aware that US iPhones don't support SIM slots, and that the warranty will only be valid in the USA. Now I was wondering, with the new IOS that's coming, Apple Intelligence is not allowed in the EU yet, but it is in the USA. Will I be able to use AI, and/or will I have any issues? Thanks

Will I lose access to Apple AI if I buy an iPhone in Europe? I'm currently working in Switzerland, and I wanted to buy the new iphone but I saw recently that apple has restricted access to many features for EU apple users for the new iphone. I wanted to know if I buy the new iphone here in europe will I never have access to those features (AI) like will they be hardware/software limitations that even when I get back to the US I can never access or is it only for apple I.Ds that are EU based. I also need to buy a new computer and watch should I just wait until I get back to the US to buy these things? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Uncertain as of yet. It may be possible if you change the region setting in the iPhone to the US, but until iOS 18.1 is released, we cannot know for sure if that will indeed work. If you don't change the region, then you almost certainly will not get Apple Intelligence features on your phone.

The important settings are the iPhone language and the Apple Intelligence & Siri language which must both be English US.
