Key command to jump half way within the cell to type number/letter within out pressing spacebar multiple times

Is there a key command which allows you to neatly write to numbers/letter within one cell so that the second number/letter is written at the half way point in the cell.

I'm not using Numbers to create a spreadsheet with formulas in this instance.

I'm using Numbers for chord sequences - each cell is the equivalent of 1 bar. Two chords can share one bar/cell. Is there a key command that allows you to jump halfway within the cell - rather than pressing spacebar each time?

E.g. Type A7 - use key command - type in B13 - so B13 starts exactly half way within the cell.

As pressing spacebar each time it can tricky to align everything like above where the second chords in the bar are not perfectly in line.

(Of course I could write A7 B13 - leaving one space between the chords)

If Option-Tab doesn't work, consider using two cells, with borders.

You can turn off the table gridlines (Inspector -> Table -> Gridlines)

Then use Inspector -> Cell -> Borders to create border lines around the logical call groups, like this:

Note the column headers here - the 'A7 B13' is actually a combination of two cells (B2 and C2), but the cell borders have been set to eliminate the vertical line between them, so they look like one cell, but the text is perfectly aligned.
