iphone 14 pro max haptic feedback / vibration only happens once

i don’t know if it’s with anyone else. but when someone calls me, the vibration to my phone goes off once only and doesn’t go off again. for everything. typing on the keyboard, once i type i feel it once and then i don’t feel it again til i type again but even then it’s still just a one time vibration. i’ve checked every setting. maybe my vibration plate is messed up? is anyone else having this issue? and if so, is it fixable?!
