My MacBook Air M1 does not have touch ID, Can I add finger ID or a device in order to use the most requested form of ID?

You should be able to go to Apple menu > System Settings > Touch ID & Password and set up Touch ID as described in Use Touch ID on Mac - Apple Support

Every M1 MacBook Air has a Touch ID sensor. It is the same key as the power key -- top right of the keyboard just above the delete key.
I have no finger sensor on my MacBook Air, even though I have all the information for using it.
You say that your M1 MacBook Air lacks a Touch ID sensor.
Are you sure that your MacBook Air is a M1 MacBook Air?
