No problems initially. After a few months, starts calling, but gets no connection. Mobile data work flawlessly…

Did you already force restart your Ultra 2 by pressing the Digital Crown and the Side button together for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again?
Also force restarting my iPhone helped in my case as well.
