Sequoia 15 update fails to recognise my Apple Magic Keyboard and mouse when my Mac mini M2 starts up now

Apple Magic Keyboard and mouse fail to be recognised by Mac mini M2 when it starts up after updating to Sequoia 15. I have to crash the Mac and then restart it before the keyboard and mouse get synced - Why is this?

Mac mini, macOS 15.0

Cable the Keyboard Directly to the computer.

Make sure the Keyboard Power Switch is turn ON

The keyboard should function as if it were a USB cabled keyboard
