Notes App not working under Sequoia

I use Outlook for notes so I can have access across Windows and Mac. While I can add notes to the Notes app on my MacBook Pro and have them appear on my Notes apps on my iPhone and iPad, if I add notes to the Notes apps on my iPhone and iPad, they do not appear on my MacBook Pro. This was working prior to Sequoia upgrade, but is no longer functioning now.

There appears to be a number of issues with the Notes app under Sequoia, but this one hasn't been highlighted and needs to be addressed.

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 15.0

Yes, I use Sequoia when booted in a main internal volume as well as when booted to few test clones on Mac mini, as well as on Ventura laptop, iPhone and iPad.

Occasionally iCloud's Notes or Safari reading list syncing needs a kick (turn that iCloud sync option OFF/ON) in some device before that info is updated to be the same as in some other device where I know it was recently updated. This happened in Sonoma as well.

I do not 100% trust Notes so I periodically export important notes as .txt or .pdf backups.

Is the Apple Notes application, been turn On in iCloud setting

On the 3 computers I own, each with Sequoia 15.0.1

Notes created on an iPhone with iOS 18.0.1 do appear on each of the three machines

I have turned iCloud syncing off and on as well as the Notes option under the Outlook.com account settings on my MacBook, restarting each time. Still no notes appear. I also tried a Microsoft 365 account with the same result.

Again, to summarize, I can create notes in the Notes app on my MacBook and they appear in the Notes apps on my iPhone and iPad. However, any notes created on my iPhone or iPad do not appear in the Notes app on my MacBook.

Also, if I delete a note created in Notes on my MacBook in the Notes apps of my iPhone or iPad, it disappears from those devices but continues to appear on my MacBook.

Absent any solution, it appears there is a problem with the Notes app on the MacBook on Sequoia.
