Migrating data from old MacBook to new MacBook without iCloud

i started my new macbook, and it migrated the data from my iphone when I signed into my apple account. I didnt want that actually, though i dont mind having the data on my macbook, too.

what i actually wanted was to migrate the data from my other macbook (not all data there is backed up in icloud) however it wasn‘t connected to the same wifi, I guess that is why it took automatically my phone as the source. How do i still get a mirror of what‘s on my old macbook over to my new macbook? I would prefer an Option without icloud.

can anyone help?

Transferring Data to a New Mac Without iCloud:

Use Migration Assistant to transfer it. Use this link: Movie your Content to a New Mac - Apple Support.. Note that some items cannot be transferred. So, you may need to get. Anew license key from the Developer.

Back Up First:

As for what to be aware of, be certain to back up your Mac first, prior to perform this transfer. That way you can have something to restore your Macfrom, should anything go wrong afterwards.
