I’ve used “listen to page” for a while in safari, when a page is compatible. Now in iOS 18 with the option more pronounced, it is not working for me. I click it, it makes the “bloop” sound as if it’s starting, but then there is no speech. Perhaps there is something in settings I’ve changed.
