Canon IJ Scan Utility

First reboot your printer. If no change then you can remove and reinstall the printer from the preferences, printer pane and/or go to the Canon web site and download and install the IJ scan utility. Are you scanning from the printer or using the Canon scanning utility or the Apple scan utility?

If you open printers & scannesr in preferences, then select the printer then "open scanner" is another way to scan files.

When you select your printer you do not see the attached menu? Upper left corner shows scanner tab.
