IPad Pro web browser does not use the external mic connected

I have been breaking my head on why browsers like Safari or Chrome are not using the external mic that I have plugged into the iPad. iPad does recognize it when using apps but when I use the web browser it uses the internal microphone.

This is very annoying because companies are starting to use web browser capabilities to record audio but when using an iPad the browsers do not want to use the external and just use the internal microphone.

I feel like Apple needs to fix this asap because I bought the iPad to be more remote in certain areas and not have to use a MacBook or computer and something as simple as an external microphone for we browsers not to use is very disappointing.
