Safari 18.0.1 on macOS and iPhone parse errors

Hi all,

Since upgrading my MacBook, iPhone and iPad to 18.0.1 I've been having issues going to a page with JavaScript where Safari reports the error:

"cannot parse response" (NSURLErrorDomain:-1,017)

The page is either not displayed to opens and elements are missing. I can use both Chrome and Edge on the same devices and the site works OK.

Issue seems to be with Safari and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas, I've deleted the website data in Safari, have no extensions loaded, have removed my VPN software (VPN is not installed on iPad and this also has the issue).

Apple Support investigated and took traces from MacOS and have confirmed that the issue is with the router. I've got an active call open with ASUS and have sent them the same data gathered by Apple.

So far I've had to reset the router and the problem still exists. I'd suggest you report to ASUS so they see this as a problem with the 88U!
